Sue Falsone shares her secrets to shoulder rehab and exercise
Sue Falsone’s, “The Shoulder: Implications for the Overhead Athlete and Beyond” is a great educational tool for therapists and exercise professionals. Sue Falsone PT is an expert in sports performance and rehab. The 2-DVD set focuses on movement dysfunction of the shoulder complex for athletes and non-athletes. She shares the knowledge of years experience in professional sports including time as the head athletic trainer of the LA Dodgers and the US National Men’s Soccer team.
Sue’s presentation style is relaxed, informative and practical. As a self-proclaimed “anatomy nerd,” she discusses anatomical keys and easily relates them to evaluation and treatment of shoulder pain. Sue details here evaluation of the shoulder complex from ‘head to toe.’ Sue demonstrates and explains her favorite exercises including TheraBand elastic resistance exercises.
A key component to the shoulder includes Dr. Janda’s upper crossed and lower crossed syndromes (see www.JandaApproach.com). The 2 disc set includes clear and detailed videos of Sue’s lectures as well as the transcript and MP3 audio files for those “on the go.”
Check out these short video clips from the DVD. I recommend this DVD for anyone looking for immediate and practical information on shoulder exercise.
